Current applied Fuel Levy 7.5% – Effective Wednesday, 08/04/26

We are pleased to advise that we have been working to reduce the Fuel Levy following the earlier surge in Queensland fuel prices linked to the Iran conflict. While fuel prices have recently begun to ease, our drivers are still experiencing elevated direct fuel costs. As a result, the Fuel Levy will be set at 7.5% effective from Wednesday, 08/04/26.

We remain committed to reviewing and adjusting the levy regularly to ensure that only the direct, unavoidable fuel cost increases are passed on. We greatly appreciate your continued support and understanding during this period.

The Government Fuel Excise reduction came into effect on 01/04/26; however, it is expected to take 1–2 weeks to fully flow through to retail fuel prices. We anticipate seeing the full benefit by around 14/04/26 and are hopeful this will allow us to pass on further Fuel Levy reductions in the coming week.

Previous Temporary Fuel Price Adjustment Notice – from 10/03/26.

Due to recent instability in the middle east and increases in global diesel fuel prices, our fuel suppliers have advised of higher wholesale fuel pricing effective Monday 9 March 2026.

As fuel is a direct operating cost for our drivers, Sub60 will apply a variable fuel adjustment that reflects movements in wholesale fuel pricing. Based on the latest supplier advice, a Temporary Fuel Adjustment will apply to our current pricing structure.

This adjustment will apply to all consignments booked after midnight tonight – 10/03/26, as these deliveries will occur during the period when the revised fuel pricing takes effect. The fuel adjustment is applied solely to offset the direct increase in fuel costs incurred by our drivers.

Fuel pricing is currently expected to remain volatile over the coming weeks, so this temporary fuel adjustment will be reviewed weekly in line with supplier pricing. As soon as fuel prices stabilise, the adjustment will be reduced or removed accordingly.
